Community Partnerships

HomeStreet Community Partnerships

To be effective in our communities, we take a comprehensive approach to our focus on meeting housing and basic needs through our strategic Community Partnerships. That means providing financial and in-kind contributions, ongoing employee involvement, and additional support where HomeStreet employees can add value. It also means financing for housing projects, a variety of home loan products for qualified clients of all income levels, first-time homebuyer classes, and the servicing of loans. As a financial institution, we want to be there when and how you need us.

Vision House

As a key partner serving the greater Puget Sound area, Vision House provides homeless prevention and temporary housing with supportive services to homeless children and their families. HomeStreet Bank is honored to support this organization and its multi-layered services in our communities. Our employees serve on the board of directors, volunteer with local projects at the many transitional housing locations Vision House operates as well as provide our financial support to this mission-critical work. It is an honor to partner with Vision House and its committed staff and volunteers.

Meet Each Need With Dignity (MEND)

Our entrance into the California market provided a wonderful opportunity to partner with MEND in Southern California. As a grass-roots organization started over four decades ago, MEND takes a holistic approach to relieving the effects of poverty by providing basic human needs while giving individuals the education and training that fosters self-reliance. Our employees in the Los Angeles area donate hundreds of hours to the vast array of programs implemented by MEND. From sponsoring their annual gala to supporting their computer literacy programs, HomeStreet is committed to serving those assisted by MEND.

Family Programs Hawaii

HomeStreet Bank’s commitment to Hawaii and its native population has been the cornerstone of our presence on the islands. In working alongside Family Programs Hawaii, we are able to support the work of helping those most vulnerable, native Hawaiian children in the foster care system. Family Program Hawaii provides services to prevent children from entering foster care; supports children and families already involved in the foster care system, and assists youth transitioning out of foster care. With board service, direct volunteering, and financial contributions, we are actively engaged in making a difference.

Community Partners for Affordable Housing

This organization provides safe and healthy affordable housing along with support and skill-building activities for individuals and families with the greatest need who live or work in the northern parts of Oregon. As a partner in this market, our employees serve in leadership positions, as volunteers, and support key sponsorship opportunities to ensure the work being done by this organization reaches the populations they work so diligently to help.
