Michelle Leite is the Vice President, Branch Manager for HomeStreet Bank’s Hilo Office. In her current role, Michelle oversees all banking operations for the Hilo branch, including client services, sales, compliance, and communications. She joined
HomeStreet in May 2002 and was previously a Branch Manager at Bank of Hawaii from 1997 to 2002.
Michelle Leite believes strongly in HomeStreet Bank’s commitment to community and demonstrates this through her active involvement in numerous organizations and as a volunteer in the Hilo community where she provides business expertise and financial literacy to various organizations.
She is currently the Treasurer of the Executive Board for the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association, where she was installed on February 19, 2015. Michelle is also involved with Salvation Army of Hilo, where she has served on the Board of Director from 2013 to present. She has been a volunteer for the American Heart Association and Family Programs Hawaii since 2014, and she previously served with Junior Achievement of Hawaii Island, where she was on the Board of Director for two years.
Michelle was born and raised in Hilo, where she currently resides.
