I've been working in the banking industry for over 18 years, during which I’ve had the pleasure of working at HomeStreet Bank twice. Throughout my career, I have gained invaluable experience in managing a branch, including being able to assist my clients interpret and claim PPE loans during the COVID-19 crisis. I was also recognized for my efforts: I was chosen and participated in the First Hawaiian Bank Emerging Leaders Program and the 2022 Ilima Award winner (a prestigious award recognizing FHB's top producer of the year). In my role as VP, Senior Branch Manager at the Pearl City branch I embrace being a mentor for others who aspire to build their careers in the banking industry.
In addition to my banking duties, I actively serve my community through various roles and initiatives. I've been part of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii for 8 years, serving both as board director and currently as its secretary, while also graduating from its Fellows Leadership program. I also dedicate my time to chairing events for the FilCom Center and taking part in numerous community outreach activities, including clean-up projects and Christmas parades alongside HomeStreet Bank.
I was born in the Philippines and moved to Hawaii as a child. In my spare time, I like to handmake jewelry, among other types of arts and crafts. I have two sons who recently represented the state of Hawaii in a national robotics competition.
