Sandy was amazing.
Friendly and professional, reliable and efficient, what impressed me the most is how accessible she is.
As a first time home owner I felt very at ease asking her the many questions. She processed all my paperwork in a very fast manner right before I left to an international trip and kept me well informed and comfortable about the process, without her assistance I most likely would not have been able to finalize the purchase and would had miss a great buy.
Im so grateful Sandy!

As a family with a profound and deep love of the ocean, most of the key decisions in our lives are influenced by this ocean love. It was this that inspired us (husband and I, along with our two young sons) to move from the midwest, farther and farther west – until we settled in Maui, Hawaii (about as far west as we could go in the U.S.). Surrounded by thousands of miles of ocean, we’re happy.

Maui is the most glorious place on the planet. But there is one catch; homes (along with everything else here) cost a fortune. Any young person starting out in their career needs help affording a home of their own. Both of our sons decided to settle on Maui to begin their own families. So, when a new program came along, designated “Affordable Workforce Housing,” we jumped at the chance to get our son, Dylan, on the list. Qualifying with a bank would be a challenge, but thanks to Sandy Rice, VP Branch Manager of HomeStreet Bank, it went more smoothly than we could imagine. As she took charge of his case, she was so easy to work with. All communications with her were prompt and responsive. Sandy is dedicated to helping Maui locals get into their own homes. She even locked in his rate months ahead of the finish of construction.

Maui needs more professionals like Sandy, helping hard-working people – like our son – not be forced to move away simply because they can’t afford housing. The big day we finally had the Hawaiian blessing of our son’s new home, Sandy was there to help us celebrate. What a lovely person! Thank you, Sandy, for all that you have done for our family, and for all the other people on the island needing the valuable help of a financial professional who cares.
