In his experience he has found that this in turn creates a productive environment and ultimately a positive relationship with customers.
Along with owning his own mortgage company, Dave has been deeply involved in building the company vision for his past employers. Under his direction he has emphasized strong relationships with borrowers, clients, vendors and referral partners. The result has been improved loan performance, substantial growth and increased profits.
Dave utilizes a coaching and mentoring management style with his direct reports that keep their focus on timelines, details and overall accountability in line with established goals and objectives. He believes that exercising these coaching techniques gives each employee a sense of accomplishment which creates loyalty and ongoing personal and corporate success.
Dave has 30 years experience in all facets of mortgage banking from sales and recruiting through processing and underwriting, compliance and risk management, secondary marketing and product development, servicing and loan sales. As past owner and president of his own company, he understands cash flows, payrolls, financial statements, audits, investor relations, warehouse banking, HR and benefits, corporate legalities and state licensing.
