A bit of background information on me so that you get an idea of who I am and who you want to be working with. No surprises. What you read is what you get.
During the early summer of 2012, I decided that the best path forward for me was with HomeStreet Bank in Seattle and I dropped everything I had going in Portland, moved to Seattle to start my career and haven’t looked back since. Since then I have had the pleasure to work around loan officers in an office that is consistently #1 in production at HomeStreet. What this means for you is that have access to the best knowledge and information about mortgage lending.
This is where you come in. I know that the mortgage and financing process can seem long and arduous. My intention is to make it as seamless and enjoyable as possible for you, your family, friends and coworkers you refer to me.
Let’s talk about your options. Let me know where you want to live, what you are looking for and what is most convenient for you. Chances are I’ve financed a home in the neighborhood you want to live in and can offer you even more information about that area. I understand that the market is less than perfect and that you might be in a multiple offer situation. To be competitive in this market, one needs to demonstrate to sellers that they are serious about buying and what better way to prove to a seller that you are ready than to write an offer than being able to explain to them you’ve done your financial due diligence, have a pre-approval letter already and trust your lender? It is my job to help guide and give you a thorough financial mortgage analysis while making sure the home mortgage process is seamless for you through excellent service and peace of mind. You will get a personalized and detailed analysis to carry with you as you shop for your home.
My confidence in ensuring you get a great experience that makes for a seamless transaction stems from the support I built around me at HomeStreet Bank. Whether it be single family homes, condos, refinancing, renovation loans, construction loans or multi-family purchases – let’s talk and find out what best suits your needs. Conventional financing, FHA, VA, and a portfolio to lend on are just some of the options available to you.
My background is not limited to HomeStreet Bank though…read on!
I come from a lineage of hard workers and self-made professionals. First and foremost, I come from parents that have given me guidance and advice and made me the man I am today. For that and them I am very thankful and grateful.
I am a native Oregonian and spent the majority of my life going to schools in Portland, Oregon while living outside the city. I graduated from Jesuit High School where I played both soccer and baseball. My college years consisted of both academics and sports. I was a Division One baseball pitcher for three years at the University of Portland. While attending the university I studied finance, economics and entrepreneurship and graduated with a degree in economics with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. I was a part of the Entrepreneur’s Scholar Program at the university, a program that ranked in the top 4% of 700 entrepreneurship programs rated by Entrepreneur Magazine.
In 2007 I took a break from academics and pursued an opportunity with Major League Baseball. The Chicago Cubs drafted me in the 11th round of the 2007 baseball amateur draft and from there I played at various levels throughout the organization until spring of 2011. When I realized baseball was not going to be a long-term opportunity for me, I went back to school to finish up my degree and joined Adidas North America in their finance department. Adidas was a great company to work for and I still appreciate everything they offered me.
Fast-forward to present day. I am currently married to Desiree Hartsock. Our relationship stemmed from the most unusual way possible. We met on ABC’s The Bachelorette television show in 2013. If your love story is more abnormal than mine I want to hear it. We married in 2015 and had our first son, Asher Wrigley, in 2016.
