HomeStreet Bank Makes Free Homeownership Benefit Available to Employees of 'Wexley School for Girls'

SEATTLE – May 4, 2015 – HomeStreet Bank today announced that the company’s Hometown Home Loan Program is now available to part- and full-time employees of Wexley School for Girls, a Seattle advertising agency best known for its results-driven creative content and HomeStreet’s advertising agency since 2012. The Hometown Home Loan Program can save buyers thousands of dollars and ease the stress of homeownership.

“HomeStreet’s Hometown Home Loan Program is a fantastic benefit that we can offer to our employees at no cost to our company,” said Ian Cohen, Wexley School for Girls founder. “Like us, HomeStreet knows that being a great employer includes providing great benefits, and helping employees to become homeowners is a huge benefit that our people greatly value. This program will help our employees save money and can help us attract and retain our creative employees. That is a clear advantage for us.”

HomeStreet Bank’s Hometown Home Loan Program provides an array of homeownership benefits including savings on closing costs and fees, access to down payment assistance and special loan programs, and free homeownership education. Companies that adopt the Hometown Home Loan Program pay nothing to add this voluntary program to their employee compensation packages.

The Hometown Home Loan Program was developed in 1994 and is now offered to employees of more than 160 private employers, municipalities, nonprofit organizations and trade unions in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California and Hawaii.
