Owner-Occupied Commercial Real Estate

Are you looking for a new place to house your business? Or, considering the purchase of the building your office currently occupies? An owner-occupied commercial real estate loan can help secure financing for the acquisition of a building, the refinancing of an existing property, or for making improvements to your existing property. In order to qualify for this special type of financing, you must occupy 51% or more of your building, which can include common areas.

 

Our owner-occupied commercial real estate options include:

 

Conventional OOCRE Loan

  • Term loan up to 10 years with 25 year amortization*, 80% maximum loan to value
  • Includes tenant improvements, purchase, and refinance of existing properties

 

SBA 504 Loan for CRE Acquisition

  • Term loan up to 25 years for up to $11.25 million
  • Includes tenant improvement and equipment funding

 

SBA 7a Loan for CRE Acquisition

  • Term loan up to 25 years for up to $5 million
  • Includes tenant improvement, equipment funding, and working capital funding

*Balloon payment may be required at maturity.

"Since 1998 when joining Homestreet Bank Commercial Real Estate, I have enjoyed many wonderful roles over the last 20 years at HomeStreet in our lending platform.  I first joined HomeStreet as a loan underwriter and was co-manager of the underwriting group before assuming my current Relationship Manager position in our Seattle office in 2007.


With over $700M in loans originated while at HomeStreet, I am proud to be a 6 time recipient of the Presidents Club Award & recipient of the Circle of Excellence for exceptional performance at HomeStreet Bank.  Before joining HomeStreet, I held positions at Clarion Partners (Seattle) and the United Nations (New York). I received my Bachelor of Arts in international relations with a minor in economics from Occidental College.


With over 22 years of real estate and finance experience, my full range of commercial real estate lending includes a a focused expertise in office, retail, industrial, and apartment financing.  An active member of the Pacific Real Estate Institute and Rental Housing Association, additionally I enjoy in my free time family fun at our home in Queen Anne, traveling and hiking with my french bulldogs.
