My name is Erik Blender, a Prudential NW Properties Real Estate Broker. I work with home-buyers and sellers from a deep sense of commitment to community development. For many years prior to becoming a real estate broker, I worked in Russia, Afghanistan and all over Central Asia directing humanitarian aid and community development programs. In Afghanistan, I worked to provide winter shelter and household goods to refugees when they returned home to villages and homes that had been destroyed by civil war.

I bring the same sense of purpose to affordable housing in Portland, and I have a unique approach to working with home-buyers. Whether it is your first time or tenth time purchasing a home, I work in a relaxed and smooth manner to lead you where you want to go. Together we determine your home search criteria, then I do the hard work of finding homes that match those criteria, and I preview each and every property before I show any of them to you. I may preview 20 homes and then only show you 5 that truly match what you are looking for. I don’t send you on any fruitless drive-by searches and I don’t waste anyone’s valuable time.
