HomeStart Savings Program

This program helps you accumulate funds for down payment and closing costs by matching $3 for every $1 dollar you save, up to a maximum of $5,000. These funds can be used toward the purchase of your first home as down payment or closing costs.

• Eligible borrowers must have an income at or below 80% of the area median income
• Homebuyer education is required

HomeStart Plus Savings Program

This program, a variation of the HomeStart program, serves families enrolled in the Federal Family Self-Sufficiency Program and who are receiving public housing assistance. HomeStreet Bank matches $2 for every $1 saved. Eligible homebuyers may save up to $5,000 in a designated savings account to receive the two–to–one matching grant of up to $10,000. To qualify for matching funds, a HomeStreet Bank savings account must be open and active for at least six months.

House Key Plus Program

House Key Plus program is a second mortgage that offers up to $7,500.00* in down payment and closing cost assistance to qualified borrowers in Washington State. 

• Homebuyer education is required

*The $7,500 loan amount is only available in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Clark & Island Counties.  All other counties have a maximum loan amount of $5,000.  Property value restrictions apply.

House Key Plus Seattle

House Key Plus Seattle is a second mortgage that offers up to $45,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance to qualified first–time buyers purchasing homes within the City of Seattle.

• No monthly payments for the first 8 years
• Low 3% simple interest (3.05% APR)
• Homebuyer education is required
• Borrowers must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income for King County

House Key Plus Bremerton

House Key Bremerton is a second mortgage that offers up to $20,000 in down payment or closing cost assistance to qualified first-time homebuyers for homes purchased in the City of Bremerton.

• Low interest rate of 3%
• Borrowers must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income for Kitsap County
• Homebuyer Education is required

House Key Plus East King County

House Key Plus East King County is a second mortgage program offered through ARCH and the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.  It offers up to $30,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance to qualified first-time buyers purchasing homes in East King County. 

• No monthly payments^*
• Low 4% simple interest (2.7009% APR)
• Homebuyer education is required
• Borrowers must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income for King County

* Loan balance is due when the home is sold, refinanced or the first mortgage is paid off.  Geographic and property value restrictions apply.

Lakeside School Down Payment Assistance Program

The Lakeside School program is a purchase assistance program for properties purchased within the City of Seattle limits. The program offers up to 17% of the purchase price in down payment assistance to help increase your purchasing power.
