Home Affordable Refinance Program

The new "Home Affordable Refinance" program will allow many homeowners with little or no equity in their home to refinance at today's lower rates.

The program is effective now and is limited to borrowers who are current on their payments and have a conventional conforming fixed or variable rate mortgage that has been sold to Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae.  Currently HomeStreet can offer this program only to customers who have loans we service.  Loans are available to borrowers with a loan-to-value ratio up to 105%, not including any home equity loans on the property.

Home Affordable Modification Program

The new "Home Affordable Modification" program provides avenues for millions of responsible homeowners in difficult situations to stay in their homes and avoid foreclosure.

HomeStreet loan customers who reside in their home may qualify for a mortgage rate modification if they find themselves in any of the following situations:

• They have experienced a significant drop in income.
• They have experienced a significant unaffordable increase in expenses.
• They have suffered a serious hardship.
