Green Home Remodel

This two-hour workshop explains what makes a remodel “green,” describes how the green remodeling approach is distinct from conventional remodeling, and shows case studies of real Seattle remodels. Thor Peterson is the Residential Green Building specialist with Seattle Department of Planning and Development. Thor has spent the last eight years teaching design and construction professionals and the general public about various residential green building strategies. Thor holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus in Environmental Policy from the University of Washington. He is the author of Seattle’s Green Home Remodel guides.
