Bruce W. Williams, Chairman and CEO
Bruce W. Williams is Chairman and CEO of HomeStreet Bank and HomeStreet, Inc. Mr. Williams joined HomeStreet Bank as General Counsel and Vice President in 1990. He became President and COO of HomeStreet Bank in 2000, Chairman of HomeStreet, Inc. in 2001, Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and Chairman of HomeStreet Bank in 2003.
Mr. Williams holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. He is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking. Before joining HomeStreet, Mr. Williams worked as a commercial litigation attorney with the Seattle-based firm, Perkins Coie, and served for two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Liberia. He is Vice Chair of the Cascade Land Conservancy and a Member of Seattle Rotary, the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Education, the Board of Trustees of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, and the International Education Advisory Board for Seattle Public Schools.
Mr. Williams is Chairman of the Board of the Washington Financial League and serves on the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors as well as the Council on Ensuring Mortgage Liquidity.
