Mark K. Mason, Incoming Chairman and CEO

Upon regulatory approval of his appointment, Mr. Mason will be the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of HomeStreet Bank and Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HomeStreet, Inc., the bank holding company. Mr. Mason brings extensive experience to the company in operations, lending, and finance management of financial institutions. Mr. Mason has a successful record of raising capital for financial institutions, addressing portfolio challenges and effectively working with investors and regulators.

Mr. Mason has previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Lending Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Fidelity Federal Bank; Chief Financial Officer of First Alliance Corporation, a mortgage banking company; Chief Financial Officer of the Eadington Companies, a diversified real estate development company; and as a Senior Manager of Deloitte & Touche, an international public accounting firm. He has also served as a member of the boards of The Bjurman Barry Mutual Funds, San Diego Community Bank and, most recently, Hanmi Bank. Mr. Mason is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
