Richard W.H. Bennion, Executive Vice President and Residential Lending Director

Rich Bennion is executive vice president and residential lending director of HomeStreet Bank. In this role, he is responsible for residential construction as well as Single Family permanent lending. Mr. Bennion joined HomeStreet Bank in 1977. After working in secondary marketing, he opened the Seattle mortgage branch in 1979, and later managed the Tacoma and Federal Way mortgage branches until 1994.

Mr. Bennion is a graduate of the University of Washington, with a B.A. in History and China Regional Studies and an M.B.A. in Finance. He currently chairs the board of Windermere Mortgage Services and serves on the boards of the Housing Partnership, University of Washington — Tacoma Business Advisory Board, Washington Mortgage Lenders Association, America's Mortgage Coop and Fannie Mae Western Business Center Advisory Board. He is past president of the Washington Mortgage Lenders Association, past president and director of the Puget Sound Mortgage Lenders Association, and past director of the Homebuilders Association of Tacoma — Pierce County.
