New Site Helps Homebuyers Find Select New Homes for Zero Down
Seattle – HomeStreet Bank announced today that it has launched a new microsite for its Welcome Home program. The new microsite provides home shoppers with an easier, more robust way to find properties.
The Welcome Home program features special financing for a select group of new homes, condominiums and townhomes in the Puget Sound region (Snohomish, King, Pierce and Thurston counties), Spokane and Vancouver, Wash.; Portland, Salem and Bend, Ore.; and Boise, Idaho. To date, nearly 300 homes have been sold through the program.
Benefits of the Welcome Home program include lower rates, no down payment, and no mortgage insurance requirement. Special terms, such as even lower interest rates, are available on certain properties. Web site visitors can shop for homes using location criteria such as region, city, state or zip code and sort the list by price and type of home. The site also provides the Multiple Listing Service number and a link to more detailed information such as photos, map, description, and the contact information for the listing agent.
"Coupled with the first-time homebuyer tax credit, homebuyers can find terrific deals through this program," said Dianne Wasson, vice president and manager of HomeStreet's Builder Preferred Lending department.
The list of available homes changes daily according to availability and can be viewed at www.homestreet.com/welcomehome.
