The University of Washington began its partnership with HomeStreet Bank in 1998 by offering the Hometown Home Loan Program, an employer-assisted housing program, to all UW employees. The Hometown Home Loan Program was chosen as a benefit because of the value and savings it provides to all UW Employees from first-time homebuyers to savvy homeowners.

Eligibility
As a University of Washington, UWMC, or Harborview employee, you are eligible to finance your home loan through the Affinity Lending Center. Homes financed must be in Hawaii, Oregon, or Washington. You must plan to live in the property financed through the program to be eligible for the closing cost discounts.
